At boot-up the New Hardware Wizard starts and sees the drive but can not find the necessary software to install it. In talking to a Western Digital tech he said I needed to update the USB drivers from the ones that came with my Dimension 8300. I#x27;d recommend you to go to your motherboard/computer manufacturer#x27;s website and make sure you update the USB hub controller drivers from there, rather than letting Windows Updates do that for you.
